For the future of music education, I would like to see an increased use of technology in class, as well as the combination of traditional instruments with new technology. I would also like to see teachers continue to be enthusiastic about what they teach, and share their knowledge in an interesting way, that is exciting for students as well.
Along with this, I would like to see teachers continue to share their passion, as they help students find theirs. Finally, for the future of music education, I would like to see the idea of the importance of individual practice time emphasised, as I feel this is an area that could be improved on. I realise that teachers tell students to practise, but many students do not realise the importance of following through. Below is a video further explaining my philosophy on music education, as well as ideas for the future. – |
